Robert’s practice focuses on business, corporate, international, tax, healthcare, real estate, estate planning and probate law.

With respect to business, corporate, international, and tax law, Robert advises clients as to formation, operation, contractual concerns, mergers and acquisitions, focusing on domestic and international tax and asset protection objectives.

Regarding healthcare law, he represents physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical provider groups, and ambulatory surgical centers in business, contractual and regulatory concerns.

With respect to real estate law, Robert represents clients in the acquisition, financing, leasing, management, sale and tax-free exchanges of improved and unimproved real estate property.

With respect to estate planning and probate law, he helps clients develop and implement comprehensive, tax sensitive, estate plans to achieve multi-generational wealth transfer and preservation. As part of his probate practice, Robert advises individual and corporate fiduciaries of estates and trusts regarding administration and taxation issues.

Robert joined the firm in 1999. He received his B.B.A at the University of Texas at Austin and J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law.

Prior to joining the Firm, Robert was a Senior Shareholder of Mayfield & Perrenot, P.C., a law firm with an expertise in U.S. business and tax activities of foreign individuals and businesses, and foreign activities of U.S. individuals and entities. He focuses on minimizing the world-wide taxation of the firm’s clients.

Robert takes pride in his ability to provide assistance and legal advice to clients, particularly healthcare providers, regarding contractual and regulatory concerns while preserving their personal and business wealth.
